PA Charter Schools
Twenty years ago, the Pennsylvania charter school law was signed. Since then, charter schools have been both heralded as the savior of the public education system and cursed as the demise of the public education system. So which are they? What have we learned about charter schools? And what have they delivered?
We will look at the history of charter schools in PA, their performance relative to the public schools, the funding and spending on charter schools and the oversight of charter schools.
Please join us as we discuss how Charter Schools have impacted education in PA and what additional steps should be taken to improve the education of all our students.
