Voice Your Opinion

Don’t grouse to your spouse! Don’t limit your lectures to family and associates.

If you have a political beef–or better yet, an idea for a policy improvement–take your opinion to the marketplace of ideas.

We’re blessed to live in a democracy.  Consider ways to make your views heard and influence results:

Contact Your Elected Representatives

Tredyffrin voters are served by these representative districts: our 2 U.S. Senators, the 6th District Representative of the U.S. Congress, State Senatorial District 19 and State Representative District 157 in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

We encourage you to use the avenues of communication to your legislative representatives. All representatives have a published email address or on-line contact form. This is particularly useful for arguing a position on an immediately upcoming vote or impending decision–and even more effective if you craft your statement in your own words.

For security reasons, mail delivery to elected officials can be slow, but a personal letter remains the definitive method of communicating.  And do not forget the simple phone call to the official or district office. Those calls are logged and tallied.

You can confirm contact points with a few web clicks, but for your convenience, here is a list of legislative addresses and numbers for our jurisdiction.
