Dear Tredyffrin Friends and Neighbors,
On behalf of the Tredyffrin Township Democratic Committee, we’d like to wish you and your family a Happy Holiday Season, and Happy, Healthy New Year. Also, we’d like to thank you very much for your support throughout the year.
Looking Ahead to 2018
Clearly, 2018 is going to be a very consequential year. Locally, the TTDEMS and activist groups will be working hard to inform and get out our voters to help elect well-qualified Democrats, Chrissy Houlahan to Congress from PA’s 6th District and Melissa Shusterman to the PA House from the 157th District, as well as re-elect Bob Casey to the U.S. Senate and Tom Wolf as governor. There is much to do before mid-term elections, and the organization and planning have already begun.
However, we would like to reflect on the success of the 2017 election and celebrate the wins of every local and county-level Democrat on our ballot. In the first sweep ever, all were elected or re-elected by healthy margins. You helped make it happen with your contributions, GOTV efforts and your vote. Thank you.

We congratulate all our newly elected candidates and wish them the very best as they begin their public service to our communities.
Elections Have Consequences
As we gather with family and friends to celebrate the season, many of us have a deep sense of foreboding about our country’s future. Yet as Democrats, we are poised to continue a wave of engaged citizens determined to correct our course and protect our democracy.
The Future for Tredyffrin
Join us and help elect Democrats who will fight to protect our families and the environment, fight for economic fairness, access to affordable healthcare and a quality education for all, our civil rights, women’s rights, voting rights and for diplomacy over saber-rattling to resolve world conflicts.
When, Where and How to get Involved
The TTDEMS meet on the third Wednesday of the month at 7:30 PM in Keene Hall at the Township Building. We encourage our members to participate in one of our committees that support candidates and the election process, recruit volunteers and inform voters, research and report on important issues at the local, state and federal level, or plan events that bring community members together to meet candidates and enjoy each other’s company. The TTDEMS also sponsor a monthly discussion group that meets on the second Monday of the month at 7:30 in Tredyffrin Library.
